The Atomic Lounge is approximately 2,450 sq. ft. and comes fully equipped with authentic mid-century modern couches, tables and chairs and can comfortably seat 45 people and accommodate up to 120 people for a reception style event. The room rental for the Atomic Lounge includes use of the two monitors for presentations or slide shows (connection via HDMI), in room sound system, built in bar area and restaurant certified kitchen for catering to prepare and serve from. Access to the museum is also included during operating hours (10am to 5pm, Tuesday through Sunday). Afterhours access is available for an additional cost.
The gallery is approximately 12,000 sq. ft. and can accommodate up to 800 guests for a seated dinner. The room rental includes access for you and your guests to the museum and its exhibits, seating for up to 350 using our 60” round tables and black wood folding chairs, an up to 12’ x 12’ aluminum truss stage, use of the in-room sound system, two wireless microphones and built in projector and screen for presentations or slide shows. Available for an additional cost would be up to three of our racing simulators. The museum is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10am to 5pm, so we are not able to begin set-up on the gallery floor until all the necessary cars have moved. Because of this we recommend that events begin around 6:30pm.
The Herm Petersen Boardroom is approximately 1,100 sq. ft. and can accommodate up to 24 people at the existing boardroom tables or various other arrangements. The room rental for the Boardroom includes the use of the built-in monitor for presentations or slide shows, in-room sound system, and wall-length dry-erase board. Access to the museum is also included with the room rental during operating hours (10am-5pm, Tuesday through Sunday). Afterhours access is available for an additional cost.
The World of Speed Learning Lane is an approximately 2,700 sq. ft. semi-private space located in the education space of the museum. The Learning Lane can accommodate up to 200 people with theatre style seating or 100 people for a seated dinner. Included with the room rental is use of Orbit Events’ black wood folding chairs, 60” round tables, 8’ banquet tables and 6’ banquet tables. Access to the museum is also included with room rental during operating hours (10am – 5pm, Tuesday through Sunday). Afterhours access is available for an additional cost. The Learning Lane does not come equipped with built-in AV.
